Voices of Support

  • "Nick has already demonstrated his commitment to public service through his work as a member of the Jamestown Planning Commission. We believe he will bring a thoughtful, practical, and fair-minded approach to the Town Council—one that respects town employees, values essential public services, and understands the importance of listening to the people who live and work in our community."

  • "I trust Nick to say what needs to be said, when it needs to be heard"

    Michael Marotta, Sampan St

  • I endorse Nicholas Insana for town council. I’ve been friends with Nick for the better part of 20 years. He’s just a genuinely good dude who I believe will bring a common sense approach to leading our town.

Endorsements

I want to clear up something regarding endorsements, or in my case the lack thereof.

It is true, I am the only democrat in this race who is not endorsed by the Jamestown Democratic Town Committee, but that's not the entire story.

The JDTC held a vote to select their slate of endorsed candidates in mid June, before they were aware of my intent to run, and prior to the close of the candidate filing period on June 24th. I was unaware they intended to vote on endorsements at that time, and as a result and they had no opportunity to consider me.

It was an unfortunate set of circumstances, however I want to be clear that I was not considered for an endorsement, rather than failing to earn one.  I respect the work of the JDTC and look forward to working with them in the future.
